Good to know

Early-access questions.

What do I need to run it?
A reasonably recent computer with enough free disk space for the videos you're clipping. Setup is one download and a double-click, and it installs everything else for you.
Does it cost per clip?
No. Everything runs on your own computer with free, open AI models, so there are no per-clip or per-minute fees. Pricing for the software itself will be announced when it opens up, and early-access members hear it first.
Is clipping other people's videos legal?
Only when you have the rights, and nodewick Clips is built around that. It works from clipping campaigns (creators who pay you to clip them), films that are in the US public domain, and your own footage, and it keeps a record of each source. You're still responsible for following each campaign's rules. If you're unsure about a source, don't use it.
Does it post for me?
It prepares everything: the video, title, caption and posting time for YouTube Shorts and TikTok, organised by day, so scheduling a week of posts takes a few minutes. TikTok doesn't allow tools like this to post publicly on your behalf, and YouTube only allows it for apps that pass its review, so the final post stays in your hands.
Which platforms does it support?
Clips are made in the standard vertical format for YouTube Shorts, TikTok and Instagram Reels. Learning currently uses your YouTube stats.
